CRAWL, CLIMB, SLIDE, PLAY

Sometimes a paper has an element I struggle to use.  This sheet from Webster's Pages had a dutch looking windmill, and I found a way to deal with it.
Cover it up!  I know, it seems silly to buy something you won't use or like.  But sometimes the kits have one page that's not your style.  So: GET CREATIVE!

I had lots of photos of my boys at the park, which leaves little room on a page for creativity.  Yet, the page turned out so unique.  I added Webster's Pages Storyteller letter stickers for playground words to mildly accent the photos!  They come on 12x12 sheets in 4 colors!!!

So the results; A crisp simple page!  Tip of the day: Don't work so hard, let the printed paper make it easy! Those little flowers along the edge and a strip of blue was all it really needed.

I love the fact that in one photo, my son is missing his boot!  Good thing he has big brother to help him.

The sunburst was cut on my Cricut, Accent Essentials. I cut it in half to emphasize the word.  The gems are so carefully added in a circle by using a punched one folded in half for a guide!

Cozy Coupe

I am a Webster's Pages fan, so the spring market kit was a "must-have".  I used the "B" side of this paper for a colorful striped background. The letter stickers match just right, so they were an easy add on.

I used up a scrap edge of a large die cut that was in my scrap box.  I sponge inked the edge of it for distinction.  The arrow was handcut.

The little car was cut on the Cricut from My Community.  But the mud was my special touch!

The Great Outdoors

Sandylion made this gorgeous "green wilderness" paper.  So I added three different oranges out of my scrap box and topped the page off with some October Afternoon stickers! I tried to fill the void up top with stapled on ribbon and some buttons.

These photos are in a pine forest next to the school playground.  Leave it to a boy in mud boots to tromp off into the woods!

CTMH PAGE

TODAY I'M STARTING MY BLOG WITH A PAGE OF MOSTLY CLOSE TO MY HEART PRODUCTS.  IT'S A LEVEL 1 KIT (PREPRINTED PAPER) CALLED ENCHANTED.  THE STAMP SET I CHOSE WAS ALSO CTMH, CALLED HAPPY FOREVER.  THE SWEETEST LITTLE HEDGEHOGS WENT WELL WITH MY SON'S PHOTO.

I STRUGGLED MATCHING THE ORANGE CARDSTOCK TO THE SPRING TITLE.  SO TO IMPROVISE, I SANDED THE STRIPS FOR A PERFECT MATCH!

I DID A LITTLE SEWING AROUND THE TITLE. BUT OVERALL, THIS PAGES WAS A SIMPLE & QUICK ONE.
