Curtain Call - Sweet Pea

Check out this color scheme for the Curtain Call Challenge:

I made two cards for this challenge.

You can barely see the lavender flowers
 stamped over the chevrons.

This second on uses a watercolor technique.

I used some distress inks, burlap stencil & water spritz for
the background.  I added some Stickles and used an
edge punch.

Yellow Cards

Unity Stamps has a color challenge
that looks like summer.

I did two cards using these spunky tones.
The first card is busy & wild.

It features a watercolor style pattern background,
two washi tapes & the Cuppy Cake  (UNITY) stamp.

I used Stickles on the image for some glitz.

The second card is crisp & quaint.

You can hardly go wrong with this cupcake stamp...
and more glitter.

Bold Contrast

I love a dull gray card, with a shocking vibrant color contrast!

The stamp is Unity August 2011 KOM set.
It's a long narrow strip of flowers,
repeated across the card base.

Those delightful flowers are Petaloo mulberry
mini delphinium.  I added the fun rhinestone
flower gems (Kaiser) to the centers
& punched the leaves with my Martha Stewart tool.

Curtain Call

As you know, I just love challenges.

I'm trying a new one called Curtain Call.

Here is the example:

I can handle that!
My style is pretty simple &
I love a good crisp card.

These stamps are Unity.
That strawberry is called Sweetest Day.
The flourish is learn.discover. grow.

I had to stamp the strawberry twice, on two different papers.
Then I cut them up & pieced it together.

I've got fresh strawberries on my mind
and can't wait to go berry pickin'!
Yay summer!

MOJO 348

It's contest time over at MOJO MONDAY.
The first week of the month offers not only just a card sketch,
but a contest for bloggers to play along & maybe win!

So here is the Father's Day theme card
that I made following this design example...

I think the funky design looks cool
with an unusual color combo.
The deer head and gear
are from Unity Stamp Company.

Color Challenge

On this rainy day,
I'm sharing another entry for the

This card is handy
and could be used
for many occasions!

I've mixed three different Unity brand stamp sets
to make this fun "thank you" card.

The sets are:

I added some fun flower gems
for a little "bling".

Sympathy Bird

Hello crafters,
it's Friday
so I'm playing along
over at Unity's

I followed the suggested color scheme for
the BE INSPIRED contest at Unity.

The stamp I used is

I love the bird & floral pattern paper
and cut the flower from a paper scrap.
The leaves were made with a punch.
I cut the ovals on my
Creative Memories cutter.
