Scottie Dogs

I sent my sweet little niece a package filled with some puppy theme items.  She gets a little black dogie next month & I wanted to make it special.  It all started with an adorable apron at the thrift store.  Here is a photo of my son modeling it:

too cute, right?

It's the cutest cross stitched apron EVER!  Plus, it's perfect for the holidays & she can use it in her toy kitchen.

The next step was a card.  I wanted a dogie on it, but it had to be similar to the apron.  I went on Ebay and searched the stamps.  Since this might be the only time I ever need a Scottie stamp, I simply printed out an auction item photo & cut it out!!!

The "for you" is a Unity stamp.  The edge punch is Martha Stewart.  I used Copic markers to give the bow red dots!

I also decorated a match box for one of Ava's toy rings that she left at my house.  She'll have fun with a fancy little box.

A stuffed black puppy with red reindeer antlers was the final addition to the care package.  I hope she likes it all!

PASTEL

Totally Happy by Ippity is a gorgeous stamp.  I stamped it in a soft grey, then colored the background with a Copic marker. I then sponge inked with a slightly darker blue around my small cardstock square stamped image. Here is my super soft card.

The metallic silver cardstock was punched out & those little dots are all glued down.  The edge punch is EK Success.  The paper is Prima.

Glossy Globes

Liquid Glass from Close To My Heart rocks!!!  I've been mass producing snow globe images for Christmas cards.

My holiday card list gets bigger every year!  It's honestly a bit overwhelming.

I've taken the plunge & gotten a few Copic markers, so this was good practice.  I'm not attempting to shade at all yet.   However, this snowman looks a lot better with festive colored apparel, don't you think?

Paper Cube

I'm mixing it up today with something other than a page or card!  I've stamped on a paper cube that I got in a three pack from Oriental Trading.

The stamp is called Beauty from Unity & Webster's Pages.

I topped it off with a hand made Cosmo Cricket Glubers fabric rolled flower .  The ink sponging gave the whole project a nice warm appeal.

Cards At Church

I always jump at the chance to make cards at church.  Candi Nelson comes up with some great ideas with her Stampin' Up products! They're a great deal at $1 per card!  I did have to use Unity stamps for the bike card when I got home.  I had smeared the ink too badly on her pretty flowers.  Also, I did doctor a few cards up.  The sympathy tree got a little raffia and the yellow card got some liquid pearls.

This last one is my favorite.  It was so clever to color each letter differently with markers!  Plus that's such a cute jumbled word.  This one only opens on the top half , which makes it double neat-o!

Tree Cards

I LOVE my Ippity gal, Angie Reece.  Every order is 10% off & you get a free gift!  After winning some Ippity credit, my last order came with a great Unity Itty Bitty stamp called A Beautiful Sight.  Using a non-traditional color scheme, I made two Christmas cards.

I Love My Boys!

The challenge at My Mind's Eye was a basic sketch & the use of brown in your layout.   I whipped out a page using MME's Union Square Home Sweet Home.

I took the time to glitter my own hand made banner edges.  I tried to match the fancy printed "love" and it turned out pretty close!  The other words & date are in foam glitter Thickers.

I used a heart punch to signify all three boys (ok, two boys & a man).  I also added a few Jenni Bowlin tiny letter stickers to describe them.  This layout is going to hang in my scraproom.  I just truly love the photo.

A little floss tied & glued on the pretty printed banner & a mini brads finished it off!  This layout was a good reminder of how wonderful glitter is. When it's printed on a page, it really gives you a place to start!

Holiday Muffin Tin

Webster's Pages is hosting a challenge at TwoPeasInABucket.  They sell  the most DELIGHTFUL paper line called Botanical Christmas.  I took a simple color scheme approach to a rustic altered project!

Wouldn't this be cute hung in a kitchen for the holiday???
I cut the "NOEL" on my Cricut.

I took time to make each cup extra special.  Some were embossed.

Prism glitter added to the magic!
Adhesive gems created sparkle!

I did Liquid Glass for shine.

A wire ribbon bow and some sprigs of holiday plants made a festive top.

JUMP

What can be more adorable than a "My First Trampoline" filled with three wild boys?  This layout is simply titled "JUMP".

I made the title using Cricut Lite Carousel.  The layering was worth it!

The bunnies are from Nate's ABC's.  I flocked their tails!

Authentique papers are from the Journey line.  These include Foundations, Itinerary and Promade .
