Girl Cards

I just love stamping these little dresses & cutting them out.
They look best stamped on patterned paper,
which is a great way to use up scraps!

The dress set is called Fabulous Girl.
The fancy background circle is from Bella Doilies.
I added Stickles glitter glue for
some sparkle accents.

These make the sweetest little girl
birthday cards. It might be Unity Stamp's
cutest set.  Don't you think?

Unity Creations

Hi everyone, it's a dark rainy Friday here in Minnesota.
I'm playing along with Unity's Friend With Flair.
I have several cards to share.

I love this chunky edge punch. It's very bold.
The card is simple, but used up some scraps.

This one has a strip of washi tape on it.

This was a bridal shower card.

Summer Heat

I finally to the time to make a more elaborate,
larger card than normal.  I get in a rush & try
to whip out cards to sell and use.
The "summer heat" challenge over at Frilly and Funkie
required some yellow/orange/red tones & a flower.

The butterfly stamp is a Wendy Vecchi set from
sentiments is also from her store.

The background was made with frayed burlap & antique linen.
Then I dripped water on it for the cool stained effect.
Walnut made the edges dark.

My flower is Bobunny, with Honey distress ink on it.

The green flourish was made on my Cricut Art
Philosophy cartridge.

This project was also inspired by our recently
released pet Monarch.  We raised it from a tiny
egg on a leaf, to this lovely creature.

I hope it comes by to visit my flowers
this summer.

USA

It's the nation's birthday.
Happy 4th of July!

Here are a few patriotic cards.
I love the red white & blue
color combination.

Both have a strip of washi tape.
All the stamps are Unity brand.
They are bold and simple,
which is kind of my style.

Celebrate

Tim Holtz had a great idea for his June Tag of the Month.
I followed his technique & made some patriotic
cards for July birthdays!

Doesn't that look cool?
I used a large dot stencil for this card.
Then stamped the sentiment & fireworks with Stazon.
I used Copics on the fireworks for a little color.
The "celebrate" is Close To My Heart brand.

Did you link up to Tim's tag challenge?
I always miss it, but learn from his blog
and always love new inspiration & ideas
for unique card variations.

Have a great 4th of July!
