Sending. . .

I love this super cute stamp set from Unity.  The mailbox and letters were tons of fun to work with.  Swing over to Unity Opportunity for lots of great creations using a universal color scheme.

I made TWO cards using the same paper & stamps.  The paper is Jenni Bowlin.

This one features a PILE of letters.

The Cabin

Here is a quick layout for Authentiques January challenge.

The paper is Gathering Bloom, Grow, Journey Icon & Foundations.  I used Classic Type stickers, Kraft paper, Accent Essentials Cricut Cartridge and burlap.

Authentique Button Card

I got a new stamp set from Papertreyink called Button Boutique.  The challenge at Authentique offered just the right sketch!

I used Foundations bi-fold solid paper for the card base.  The floral is Gathering "Bloom" paper.

I TREASURE THESE PICTURES OF MY OLDEST BOY. MAYBE I'M PROUD THAT HE'S SO AWESOME.  HE'S BEEN ROCKIN' THE GUITAR SINCE AGE 9!  HE'S SO COOL IN HIS SHADES & ALL BLACK.  THESE SHOTS ARE FROM THIS PAST SUMMER, WHEN HE WAS 11.  DO YOU EVER HAVE PICS THAT ARE SO GOOD, YOU ARE AFRAID TO SCRAP THEM?  I WONDERED IF I COULD EVER DO THE PHOTOS JUSTICE.  RIDICULOUS, I KNOW.

THIS PAPER LINE IS ENCHANTED BY BOBUNNY.  I WON A NICE STACK FROM THE COMPANY BY PLAYING ALONG WITH A BLOG CHALLENGE.  HERE IS THE SPREAD OF MY WINNINGS. 

 THE CTMH XTREME STAMP  IS EMBOSSED IN BLACK.  I PLACED IT ON RED FOIL PAPER & FRAMED IT WITH BOBUNNY GLITTER PAPER & GEMS.

THE FINAL TOUCH WAS VINTAJ ARTE METAL DELICATE LEAVES AND BEECH LEAVES, ADHERED WITH E6000.  THE GUITAR PICK IS ALSO FROM THEM. IT WAS ATTACHED WITH 3D POP DOTS  TO MAKE THE BRASS ELEMENT FIT IT, IT GOT SPRAYED WITH ADHESIVE & GLITTERED RED!

THE BLACK & WHITE PRINTED BACKGROUND WAS OVERLAYED WITH STRIPS OF GLITTERY SWIRL PAPER.

Gift Wrap

I was trying to come up with a creative gift wrapping idea using Unity for their current challenge.  Gift bags are fun and so are tags, but I wanted to do something different.  So, I took a spin off the idea that the local scrapbooking store had shown us at the last crop I attended there.  We had made the cutest little glassine bag pocket pack that holds candy & a card.  So, here are TWO that I made using her Christmas one as an example:


One holds a "king" size candy, the other has a smaller candy that is tucked down inside. *Notice the two different folding techniques which is noticeable on the top back of each.

#1. RED



  Here, the card is pulled out from the pocket.  The glitter heart is cut from pattern paper, but the card background is stamped with Unity.  BoBunny's "Crush" paper is used on both gift pouches shown in this post.

#2. PINK



The houndstooth pink paper is an unknown brand scrap.

 If you're wondering what holds the folded glassine bags in half, I used a stapler.  They are covered with paper so you'd never now, unless you flipped it over.

An alternative treat would be the boxes of conversation hearts that can be found everywhere this time of year!



Subway Art

This is a style of jumbled words that is a hot fad.  You see it framed, free printable, on pillows, and now.... on CARDS!  I've got to say, I never would have tried this without the video class at Two Peas In A Bucket.  The trick is to own a fair amount of stamps, *cough* which I do!  It's a sickness, really.

Bright Mojo Card

The Mojo Monday blog is very popular place!  You can link up cards that follow the suggested sketch or just browse for unique interpretations of it! 

Today I'm sharing with you a bright card using the Cosmo Cricket Delovely kit.  Each time I've used this kit, the results look great.  There is just something about all that COLOR!!!
