Basket Card

I spent a bit of time fussy cutting out a stamped
row of baskets.  The weren't too bad except those
tedious handles!  It was an easy card otherwise,
just slapped them on a patterned paper background &
added a very tiny bow!

I've been playing with this stamp & like both options of
coloring the baskets with Copics AND just stamping on Kraft
colored paper.  The second is WAY easier.

This is just a blank card.
I seem to use them often for my
friends & family.

Heaven Sent

I'm dreaming of baby days, soon to come.
My sis is expecting!  Plus making baby cards
is just way too fun, with all the sweet stamps from Unity.

Here we have clouds from the Mr. Boy set and
the bird-sentiment-pins come from Precious Little One.

I added a bit more color to the clouds for impact,
using a Copic marker. The bird got colored in too!
It is always good for me to use a white background
and get a bit more artsy with some stamps.
That's a break away from my typical patterned paper dependency!

Man Card~ Bobunny

Just a quick post today,
sharing a manly card I made last night for
the brother-in-law.

The Bobunny paper is Zoology &
that stamp is new Tim Holtz.
3D pop dots raised up that sentiment.

Thread Spool Holder

I'm sharing something unique today,
not just another card.

This thrift store find was broken & ugly.
That didn't stop me from taking it home &
giving it a fresh new look.

BEFORE

Unity stamps to the rescue!
I could hardly go wrong with these
the Domestic Bliss & Get Scrappy With stamp sets.

AFTER

I love the vintage seamstress image!
Those little tape measures are cute too.

WASHI

Washi tape is still all the rage.
It's so hot, it's expanded from crafting
to everyday use!

Here is a card using a 3 pack of tape from

My stamps are from Unity.
The butterfly is Fly Free With Me.

July Unity Challenge

I'd be a fool NOT to play along with Unity's color/sketch
challenge each month.  I am after all, a MEGA Unity fan.
Once you have the stamps, the trick is to keep on using them!!!

I skipped out on the sketch this time & did
two cards with the color scheme.
The problem is when I printed the example above,
it came out looking like 2 greens, blue & burgundy.
So my cards lack the yellow!  Oops.
I really need a computer in my craft room.

This first one actually is my first time using Grunge board.
I cut it on my Big Shot into flowers.
They have alcohol inks for color.
The sentiment is from Just Wanted to Say.

On this card I used Fly Free with Me
Even though it's a sad card,
I did add a little sparkle.

I hope you play along with Unity's challenge.
It's a great way to get inspired &
the color schemes make it all so easy!

MOJO300

The Mojo Monday blog is celebrating it's 300th post!
It's a very inspiring challenge,
and always gives me a fresh design.
Here is the card sketch:

For my card, I used a new stamp from
Trillium in Notched Square.
I love this stamp, because we have
a ton of these flowers
in the woods each spring.

Here is close up of my Copic coloring
and the Stickles sparkle!

The sentiment is from Tim Holtz.
You can get that set from the Funkie Junkie Boutique.
