FWF~ Pretty Dresses

It's Friday & that means Friends With Flair over at Unity.
I just love their stamps & never tire of creating
unique greeting cards with them.

Here are three very feminine cards
made with the cutest girl
stamps in the entire world.

These dresses look so fabulous
when stamped on several different
printed papers & cut out!

And the last is my favorite of the three..

I added a few stamped stars to this printed Prima paper
for just a little pizazz.

FWF ~Sympathy

Hi folks.
I'm sharing a sympathy card
that I made using Unity stamps.
It seems like sympathy cards
are so hard to pull off gracefully,
but I love how this turned out &
will be making more just like it.

The stamp set is an Ippity (Unity) set called
With Sympathy.  I love the trees & meaningful
sentiments.  It's always hard to know what to say.

Unity Challenge

Well, today our 14 year anniversary!
We're headed way "up north" to the Superior National Forest
for some canoe camping & fishing for three days.
But here is a quick card post...

The Unity challenge has
both color & layout sketches:

The card sketch is simple,
but turned out so sharp.

The stamp sentiment is from Friends + Flowers= Priceless.

FWF~ Graduation

I'm happy to be joining in Unity's Friends With Flair
linky party this pleasant Friday morning.
The card set I made here features one of the Itty Bitty
stamps on sale right now for only $2.
It's called Thanks A Bunch.

It's nearly graduation time,
so I thought these cards would work great!
The sentiment is from the KOTM (4/12).

Do you love that rainbow ink pad affect?
My mom-in-law got it at a garage sale!

MOJO 292

Hi folks.
It's time again for the Mojo Monday blog contest.
Here is the sketch this week:

I did some background stamping,
instead of using paper.
They stamps are all Unity:
Stars of Worn
Beautiful Disaster
Learn Discover Grow

I also added some washi tape & gems.
This will be a funky graduation card.
What do you think of it?

Clock Card

Sometimes it's a stretch to use Tim Holtz
Blueprint stamps, because they're so industrial.
However, this graduation card seemed to make
pretty good sense.  I get so sick of the same old
"congratulations" stamps for grad cards.
You know what I mean?

So here is my unique card,
inspired by the challenge at Frilly & Funkie
(There Is No Time To Waste)!

I stamped the "table" in Tim's wood grain background
stamp in Close To My Heart Chocolate.
Then I masked the top of the card off & rubbed on
burlap distressing ink with a foam applicator.
Stickles on the clock & some black ribbon gave it
a little pizazz.  The clock was done using
a rainbow ink pad from a garage sale!
The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company's
Kit Of The Month 4/12.

Stop by the Funkie Junkie Boutique online
if you love the clock blueprint stamp!

Friends With Flair & Stickles

It's Friday, that means Unity's Friends With Flair!
I've missed a few weeks, but am back in action.

This card used the Vintage Doily Shop rose stamp.

I colored it with Copics and added Stickles.
The pattern paper was a freebie with my last
stamp order from Unity.
The background is also stamped using Bit O Burlap.

I thought this would make a great Mother's Day card.
That rose stamp was perfect!

Unity Monthly Challenge

I made an interesting sunburst card
It was a little tricky,
I had to keep adding rays
until I got the look I wanted.
This was a great way to use
 up more paper scraps!

Here is the color scheme:

The stamp I used is from the 4/12
Kit of the Month called Follow Your Own.

It's time to start making those graduation cards!
I really love this saying
and the sunburst helps express it!

Thanks Unity...for another fun challenge.
