CC19 & more!

Here is my Ippity Chick Challenge 19 entry, using Cosmo Crickets Delovely kit. . .

The stamp is called Totally Happy.  I like this card sketch, it appears you're looking through a window!  Plus I often don't add bows, and look how cute it turned out with pink ribbon!

You should join in the fun at Chick Challenges, I just won Challenge 18 and scored a new stamp set from my favorite Ippity Chick Angie!  Coming soon to my mailbox. . . Music of the Heart!

Yummy Holiday MALTS

Today is a simple layout that uses a magazine ad for inspiration.  I found this style of creative interpretation quite enjoyable!  What can you pull from an ugly product advertisement?  You'd be surprised!

It's so simple.  BUT the fun was creating a multiple font title!  I used chipboard letters, stamps & tiny stickers.  A little sewing made the swooshing strip blend with the fabric style paper.

The photos of my hubby & two boys sure give different perspectives of the malt sippers!  How convenient they all have on navy blue!  Hooray, that never happens!

It's a strange tradition, but we always have malts with our Christmas meal.

Copic Flower Card

I'm new to Copic markers & taking baby steps with their use.  Here is a pretty card that I used Close To My Heart stamps to create.

I love Morning Glories so much.  This makes me miss summer.  I start my greenhouse job for the season soon, then I'll be surrounded by plants!

Forest Fun

You can tell were this post is going. . . more ad inspiration!
This one was simple, but allowed me to use a stamp that drew attention to theme!

I sanded the edges of the Core'dinations cardstock then added Echo Park's For The Record Paper.
The "Forest Fun" letters came in the E.P. paper kit.
The boy seal stamp is Close To My Heart.
The chippy "brothers" is Cosmo Cricket.

What do you think?  Too basic?  Or just right?

Webster's Cards

Here are a few cards made with Webster's Pages.

First, a child's birthday card:

The adorable image was printed right on the paper.
Isn't it soooo cute?

Next up, a Valentine's card:

This uses Unity/ W.P's Country Estate Frame
I stamped it three times, using the second as a pattern to punch the heart out of!
The third was on a different color, so the bird would show up.
The sentiment is from my Cricut.

CC17

Today, an entry for Ippity's Chick Challenge number 17.  I used a pear from New Season, New Wonder.

The sketch is so basic that I made sure to use glitter paper, emboss & handcut the pear.  It's pretty sharp with the contrasting colors.

Happy Valentines!

I hope you have a day filled with lots of . . .

Bentleyville

Here is a double page layout using Echo Parks For The Record, again!  I must sound like a broken record by now.  This was a fun event & our first trip ever to Bentleyville, a Christmas light spectacular in Duluth Minnesota.

Can you tell that I was trying to use up scraps of this kit?

The huge Christmas tree flashed to music in an amazing light show.
We met my sweet aunt there that day & it is a great memory for us all!

Cake Pan

Here is altered cake pan from the thrift store.  I lined it with Webster's Pages Paper, glued in W.P. tinsel for an edging & added a small cluster in the middle.

Netting bloom tutorial @ Such A Pretty Mess

The vintage image was cut from an old Ideals Valentine magazine.

How did I hang it, you ask?

E6000 & hemp
It's the best adhesive available!
