Blooming Basket

Check out my seriously original handmade flowers for the

Curious how I made them?

I started with the fan from a Tim Holtz
blueprint stamp purchased at the Funkie Junkie Boutique.

I cut just the fan blade portions out.

I curled these "petals".

I stacked 3 layers of petals & sewed them together,
topped with a button.

They were fun to make. I just love the stamped pattern.
It was a cool way to dress up this basket
with ribbon, tissue paper & some blooms.

  3. Oh my gosh, Jane, your flowers rock! What a cool design. I NEVER would have thought to use that stamp as a starting point. You little basket looks wonderful with the flowers to decorate it.

So happy to have you joining in the fun over at Frilly and Funkie this past week.

    Hugs,
